The collection consists of papers of Malcolm Howard Dewey from circa 1903-1963. The papers include correspondence from sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens to Dewey's father, Dr. Edward Hooker Dewey, regarding patient-physician matters relating to diet and health (1903-1904); letters between Dewey and portraitist Wilford Seymour Conrow primarily pertaining to portraits painted for Emory University (1944-1956); and other miscellaneous letters. The collection also includes photographs of Metropolitan Opera stars; articles relating to Glenn Memorial Methodist Church, where Dewey directed music and the Emory University Glee Club, which he conducted from 1920-1957.
